BIO
I am erin/ella - a singer/songwriter based in Kent, the "garden of England". I was born in Alaska but spent my childhood in California where I developed a love of singing and playing flute. At the age of 11 I moved back to Alaska and was given a guitar. The rest is history. I began preforming at local weddings and events and currently play at pubs, restaurants and festivals across southeast England.
Having worked with a range of talented musicians including Chris Comac and Vic Hyland and in various musical genres including bluegrass, pop, jazz and blues, I now perform solo. My vocal influences include Ella Fitzgerald, Patsy Cline and Margo Timmins. My song writing influences include Jim Croce, Tom Waits and Carole King.
